This position is the front of the company and the first impression to all visitors entering the facility. Greets all visitors in a friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner. Operates switchboard routing calls and taking messages. Will be responsible for handling a variety of Human Resource related administrative tasks and will provide support to the department regarding HR related activities, policies, processes, and procedures in a professional manner.
Operates switchboard console, routing all calls promptly, taking messages when required. Receives, sorts and distribute all incoming mail daily and prepares outgoing mail for delivery. Schedule and train relief switchboard operators.
HR Administrative duties may be of a confidential nature and will include maintaining of records and logs such as the applicant flow log, applicant and EEO files, training logs, attendance logs and other pertinent records. May coordinate travel arrangements, arrange related details for events and/or meetings. Assists in event planning with division-wide scope. Facilitate and maintain the process of pre-employment screenings.
High School education or equivalent plus a minimum of 1 year previous Receptionist and Administrative experience.
