‘The number one function in the role is quoting/estimating. We build a full blown bill of materials and labor calculation for every quote since our product is so complex and varies so much. I would say 60-80% of time can be spent in this process. The remaining time is spent creating documentation for production, managing new projects as they go through prototyping/qualification, and there is also some customer support (some off site) which is growing for us. ‘
