Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician is responsible for delivering on-site and remote support to our clients. The role will develop, improve, and build customer relationships by supporting operations. This position has a Networking emphasis and experience in this area is required. Work hours as scheduled and otherwise required to maintain client-focused responsibilities. Position may include scheduled time outside of normal business hours.
-Direct support for break/fix of workstations, servers and network appliances managed.
-Onsite visits to client locations to aid in troubleshooting or install of PC, Network or peripheral devices.
-Use of remote management technologies to manage assets within End Point Services program.
-Assists in the deployment of new field services and renovation of current resources.
-Install, upgrade, and configure mobile devices including but not limited to Apple and Android products.
Required Technical Proficiencies and/or Certifications:
-Holds a valid driver’s license and has access to a vehicle to drive to client facilities.
-Experience in networking design and configuration. Understanding of IP-based computer networking within LAN and WAN environments.
-Experience in the installation, support, monitoring, and custom modification of Microsoft server-based operating systems.
-Operational understanding of IP-based computer networking within LAN and WAN environments.
-Operational understanding of desktop-based operating systems.
