Job description

Sets-up and runs, with minimal supervision, a variety of machines to include: vertical mills, production porting, grinders, deburring, and cleaning equipment. Runs manual lathes, chuckers, and other production equipment with supervision, and has a general knowledge of CNC and NC controlled equipment and how they operate.

Qualifications for Entry:

Post high school training in machine shop, blueprint reading, basic CNC operation, and machine shop math; or one year machining experience in a production environment machine shop.
Demonstrated knowledge of shop math.
Demonstrated ability to use computers and shop reference manuals.
According to Government Regulations all employees in this job classification must be a US Citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
Open to considering Machine Operators with some experience

Willing to train if some basic machine operation experience

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
o Main focus on circuit board soldering, assembly and testing.
o Ability to work quickly and efficiently with a zero-defect approach.
o Accurately follow process paperwork, training and procedures. Maintain accurate records and files.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
o soldering experience in a production environment
o Ability to perform soldering, assembly, and electrical testing
o Must be able to read and understand work instructions
o Extremely high attention to detail
o Basic computer skills

Candidate must have experience or related education in both the assembly and wiring of automated controls. Qualified candidate must have a fundamental knowledge of how to read ladder logic diagrams. A qualified candidate will understand the basic principles of wiring controls. Duties include assembly and wiring of controls from layout drawings and schematics. A qualified candidate will have previous automated controls wiring experience or education in a related field. Electrical or electronic schooling is considered very beneficial. Working knowledge of pneumatic circuits would be a plus. Must be able to stand on your feet and work throughout the day.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lays out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
  • Installs and wires devices such as switches, meters, analyzers, transmitters, etc.
  • Cuts, strips, bends, and forms wire cable, conduit, pipe, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies.
  • Connects color-coded wires, using mirrors in compact areas.
  • Solders connections and crimps connectors to wire ends.
  • Adjusts electrical assemblies as required.
  • Discusses errors in diagrams or during production with Electrical Lead or Engineer to clarify assembly problems.
  • Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.

Shipping & Receiving Inventory Export Clerk

Position Summary
This position will be responsible for shipping products to customers both domestically and internationally and handle inventory related tasks.
Inventory
' Receive, count and document incoming parts and material quantities.
' Process pick list and inventory adjustments daily to keep inventory correct.
' Issue designated items and daily pull parts for assembly work packets.
' Count and issue precious metal contacts and ground insets to assembly.
' Remove obsolete inventory from stock in reaction to engineering change orders (ECO's).
' Assure the accuracy of data input into the inventory system of issued, cycle and receiving count quantities.

Shipping/Receiving
' Pack and ship products to customers, suppliers and 3rd party, both domestically and internationally.
' Work with outside shipping sources such as UPS, Fed Ex and U.S. Customs & Border Protection Agency. Lift up to 50 lb. boxes and use of dolly's and ladders (up to 6 feet)
' Register and complete production line information using ERP system (Microsoft AX).
' Reserve sales order items in our ERP system and resolve issues
' For international shipments, assign a filing with U.S. Customs by transmitting data to their ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) software.
' Ensure internationally shipped items are compliant with U.S. customs requirements and keep up to date on export compliance changes.
