Job Description:

Responsibilities:
Electrical Engineer applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to research, develop and design electrical control systems. General tasks include embedded control system design and development, wire harness design, printed circuit board (PCB) design, and membrane switch design o Control system development will typically be a mixture of in-house activities inconjunction with external engineering resources. Specific design duties may include (but are not limited to): o Electronic and/or electromechanical component specification and selection o Control circuit design and schematic capture o PCB design and layout o Control system assembly design and layout o Microcontroller programming in C and/or Assembly language o Programming documentation using flowcharts o Membrane switch design o Wiring harness and/or cabling specification and design
Competencies/Experience:
o Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering EXPERIENCE: o 2 to 5 years experience in electrical and electronic system design o Working knowledge of electrical motors and controls, electronic circuit function and design (analog, digital, & micro-controllers) ), battery and charger application, electrical-hydraulic controls, electric and engine powered commercial and industrial vehicles o Ability to program embedded control systems in C and Assembly languages o Understanding and ability to use CAC programs for schematic development, PCB design, and wire harness design such as PCAD, Altium Designer, RSD and ProCable, OrCAD, and Pro/ENGINEER.
