Job Description: Design Engineer with pro-e

Responsibilities:
DESIGN COMPONENTS AND SYSTEMS USING PRO-E, INTERACT WITH SUPPLIERS, ASSIST IN DEFINING COMPONENT, SYSTEM AND MACHINE TESTS PLANS AND INTERPRET RESULTS, PERFORM ENGINEERING ANALYSIS, CREATE AND CATALOGE ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS, PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO ASSEMBLY LINES Main Responsibilities: . Access and compile all engineering drawings for the products off the BOM. . Work with manufactming engineer and design engineers to understand any critical aspects of assembly and function for the components. . Work with procurement to identify and categorize or clarify requirements beyond the engineering specifications to aid in assuring the proposed new suppliers understand our needs and expectations. . Confer with design engineers on any testing needed. submit test requests if needed, and review and interpret test results. . Make engineering drawing changes. submit and process ECO's. . Familiarity ,,,,ith sheet metal, weldments, machining, injection molding. aluminum castings. rotational molding is a plus. There should be some familiarity with electrical concepts, wiring and agency approvals, but this is not a primary criteria.
